Letter from Tony Blair
A copy of David's Story was sent to Prime Minister Tony Blair. Here is the letter Mr Blair kindly wrote in reply:
The letter reads:
Dear Mr Morin,
Thank you so much for sending me "your story". I found it very moving and I am full of admiration for the courage and determination both you and your wife have shown during the past four years.
You will both have endured immense worry and many anxieties. I am just so pleased that you have come through it all.
I send you and your family my warmest wishes for the future.
Needless to say David was thrilled to receive such a personal response.
